The Wedding Games 2019

We have two words for you: Team GSD!!!!

For those of you who aren’t familiar with the Central Coast Wedding Games, it’s an outdoor game day for local wedding professionals where we’re grouped into teams and compete in wedding-themed games to earn a trophy and bragging rights!

As much fun as we have at this annual event, we get to give back at the same time! Participants pay to play and all proceeds go to Special Olympics. This year was the second year of the Wedding Games, and they were even more elaborate than last year. Some favorites include “Aisle Gauntlet,” “Extreme Bouquet Toss,” “Grand Entrances,” and “Bridal Relay.” Take a look at the video of this year’s Grand Entrances here.

This year, the lovely Greengate Ranch hosted our festivities and the rain just so happened to stop right before the games began! We have a whole host of the Central Coast’s finest vendors to thank for their donations and collaboration–everyone from the planning team to the caterers who kept us full throughout the afternoon. There were a couple hundred people gathered for this event (both supporters and competitors).

Our “GSD” team was made up of an amazing assortment of wedding pros: Amanda Holder Events, Heart Melting Events, Modern Symphony DJ, Just Baked SLO, Stories Told By Film, and Nikkels Photography. AND WE WON!!!! Our team kicked major butt and took home the trophy! Each team did an amazing job; we absolutely loved the 2019 Central Coast Wedding Games and we can’t wait for next year!
