Holly’s 40th Birthday Party was a perfect way to spend a Friday evening in June! Holly and her husband, Brandon, bid on and won the “Celebration of Love” package at Family Care Network’s annual Benefit For Kids Event last fall.

For those who don’t know, Family Care Network is a local non-profit organization committed to enriching the lives of children and families through partnership with the community. The Benefit for Kids serves as one of their primary fundraising events for the year, where local businesses donate products or services as individual items or contributions to a larger package. We decided to donate a full service option: designing, planning, and managing for the “Celebration of Love” package. This auction package included donated services from several prominent wedding industry vendors, too, including Copper & Crystal, Holland Ranch, All About Events, Just Baked SLO, and Field to Table Events (just to name a few)!

Since Holly & Brandon have been married for over a decade, and therefore didn’t need wedding planning services, they decided to use their winnings for Holly’s upcoming 40th birthday! And the best part: she declared the party Denim-On-Denim themed! After all, what better way to celebrate the start of a new decade?!?

Everything fit the theme–from the indigo mudcloth runners and the chambray napkins, to the photo booth backdrop and the lounge pillows! Even our vendors were all wearing some kind of denim! DJ Malik played all the best throwback jams and all of Holly’s guests loved it, and Jake from Bella Vista Designs threw in a Gobo to his lighting package so we could have a big “40” on the dance floor! Happy 40th, Holly!
