Tessa & Ruben’s day had a special significance for me (Julia), as it was the first wedding I led completely on my own! (Amanda handled the GORGEOUS design & I handled the coordination). While Amanda was running a beautiful wedding at Spreafico Farms, I took over this lovely White Barn wedding right down the street. And I can’t forget to mention my amazing assistant and SLO Wedding Planner, Elyse of Elyse Events.
This couple’s wedding hashtag was #PerezPartyOfThree and let me tell you, they certainly were a party – the best kind of party: the kind where everyone feels welcome. If there’s one thing that’s true about this couple, it’s that they’re always laughing. Laughing with each other, with their daughter Avery, with their family, and with their friends. I think that’s what I’ll remember most about this couple. That AND the most adorable father-daughter dance EVER. (Scroll down for photos to see what I mean). Ruben shared a dance with his sweet daughter and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house! Last but not least, I need to highlight Lisa, the fantastic florist from L+C Event Decor! We’d never worked with her before, so it was extra fun to see her unique style & expertise. 🙂 Take a look at her beautiful arrangements at the sweetheart table, they’ll amaze you!
I confess, one of my favorite parts of this wedding day was the consistent support I received from my fellow vendors working this wedding. Everyone was so encouraging, from Chef’s Table Catering’s servers to White Barn’s venue manager, Alicia. At the end of the day, I felt so proud of the work that this team of vendors did together and felt so honored to have represented Amanda Holder Events on my own! I’m so glad my first solo wedding experience was with this fantastic couple. I’ll never forget this day!
