Athena & Jake were college sweethearts while attending Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, so it was only fitting they get married in the same area at Opolo Vineyards. The couple’s colors of sage and gold added to their romantic theme, while the pink and purple accents in the florals added a pop of color to emphasize the season of spring. Athena and Jake decided to forgo a traditional guest book and instead went for five wine bottles for guests to sign that the couple will open each year for their first five years of marriage. They had a hilltop ceremony overlooking rolling vineyards, where the bride walked solo down the aisle, then guests were shuttled down to the barrel room for the reception and danced the night away with glow sticks.
