What do you get when you cross Boho Glam and Greek Island Flair??? Sevasti and Rico’s truly unique wedding at Higuera Ranch! The festivities started off in-style, the day before the wedding, with a welcome party that brought all of our Mamma Mia fantasies to life. The front lawn of the main house was decked out with disco balls and the Synthesi Band played traditional Greek music that had all the guests dancing the night away. And we haven’t even mentioned the amazing outfits worn by the couple of the hour who were literally glowing from head to toe in their gold sparkle attire!

On the day of the wedding, the bride, her bridal party and family started off their day with a toast poolside in their matching robes, while the groom and his friends and family did their own toast in the red barn with whiskey. The ceremony took place under the gorgeous Higuera Ranch fig tree in front of an alter of cascading disco balls and an abundance of dried and fresh florals. The couple included Greek traditions in their ceremony by using Stefano crowns that the Koumbaros (wedding sponsors) intertwined three times to symbolize the union.

During cocktail hour, guests enjoyed signature cocktails and the bride changed into a personalized white leather jacket with the wedding date on it. The table numbers, escort cards, napkin rings, seating display, and the glass jug on the “in memoriam” table were all created by the bride herself! How amazing is she?!? After the first dances were complete, all of the guests came together for a traditional Greek family dance! Dancing continued into the night inside the barn where guests could enjoy a wide variety of cookies brought by family and friends of the couple. The bride even took over the DJ booth for a bit, which caused the crowd to go wild!

The wedding weekend ended on Sunday afternoon with brunch from Taqueria 805 and a pool party to wrap up all of the fun. All-in-all a beautiful and exciting wedding weekend that we SO enjoyed being a part of!
