Greengate Ranch & Vineyard Wedding | San Luis Obispo Wedding Designer

Olivia and Michael’s office friendship blossomed into an office romance and so much more! Michael went to Cal Poly and they both worked in the area before they began their relationship, so getting married in the San Luis Obispo was always on their minds.

Their spectacular four-day wedding weekend at Greengate Ranch & Vineyard started with a rehearsal dinner on Thursday on the Ranch House lawn with breathtaking views of the Edna Valley, where the couple’s friends and family dined family-style at one long table. On Friday, the couple hosted welcome drinks and appetizers at the Rustic Barn for all of their guests to come together before the big day.

Saturday was wedding day! As Olivia and Michael were getting ready, their vendors were busy turning their venue into a secret garden. When we first started designing and planning, Olivia said she didn’t want anything crazy…no hanging florals or greenery, just something simple and garden-like. But, once we hit the ground running, that all changed. The Stables gave us a completely blank palette with which to design and we assembled an all-star vendor team to bring Olivia’s Secret Garden vision to life!

After the ceremony at the Pond, which featured the lighting of the unity candle by the couple’s mothers, guests were brought to the Rustic Barn for cocktail hour. For the reception, guests headed up the hill to the Stables and were absolutely wowed by the hanging florals, greenery and lighting…stunning all-around.

After dinner, guests hit the dance floor with the high energy stylings of live band Soulville, and gobbled up delicious desserts from Seabreeze Cupcakes.

Olivia and Michael’s wedding weekend concluded with a pool party on Sunday, wtih breakfast burritos. We were so sad to see this one come to an end…it will go down as one of our all-time favorites!
