Pepper Tree Ranch Wedding |San Luis Obispo Wedding Planner | Kasey & Brandon

This day can only truly be described in two words: creativity and commitment. Creativity because the bride, Kasey, is a graphic designer, and designed the two bars and a selfie backdrop herself. In all our wedding experience, we’ve never seen DIY projects like these. Case in point, as soon as we published photos on our Instagram story, our messages were overflowing with people asking to purchase both bars! A few more fun elements included: the ceremony aisle made of beautiful rugs from her grandfather’s attic, guests signed vinyl records instead of a traditional guestbook, and the cocktail hour florals were created by the groom’s mother. Clearly, both the bride and groom’s family rallied together to make sure this wedding had its own flare.

This wedding was flawless, and we attribute that to the incredible vendor team! Flora & Fauna Fine Food made sure everyone had hot, delicious food in front of them right on schedule. Nikki and her Fluidbloom Designs team stunned guests with their bouquets and centerpieces, as usual. The fabulous Moonshiner Collective band from Come Alive Entertainment kept everyone singing and dancing all through the night, complete with beautiful acoustic moments for the ceremony and specialty dances. And as if it couldn’t get any better, Kasey & Brandon’s photographer was the SAME person who photographed Kasey’s parents’ wedding many years ago!

A favorite moment of ours from this wedding was watching Kasey and Brandon start a conga line with their guests while the speakers blasted the last song of the night, “Mr. Brightside.” While the final chorus blared, Kasey and Brandon sang at the top of their lungs with their foreheads touching, surrounded by hundreds of people who love them. What a way to end our first month of 2019 weddings!
