Hannah and Wyatt’s wedding is one that not only they will remember for the rest of their lives, but that I will also remember, because it was the first wedding I had the honor of leading entirely on my own! Amanda, of course, worked with the couple to plan and design their special day, and I handled coordination the day of the wedding with the help of our lovely assistants!

On the night of the rehearsal dinner, spirits were high. Despite the rain that forced us to move the ceremony inside the barn, Hannah and Wyatt looked happier than ever. That was my favorite thing about them. Whatever they were doing, whatever they were talking about, they were always gleaming when they were together.

The wedding was also gleaming! Gleaming with family members who couldn’t be more excited to become united through Hannah and Wyatt’s marriage, with friends who had known Hannah and Wyatt since college, and with love. Hannah and Wyatt stood in front of a beautiful nine-foot wooden cross that was built specially for them by family members and exchanged vows, communion, and their first kiss as a married couple!

The rest of the night was one HUGE dance party that had every single person out of their seats! When it was all over, Hannah and Wyatt got into their getaway car, a red convertible Porsche, decorated with a “Just Married” sign, and everyone screamed and cheered as they drove away. It was truly a surreal, sweet, and unforgettable moment.

Some of my favorite parts of this wedding were working with the amazing vendors I had support from throughout the day. Fire & Wine Catering truly outdid themselves with their kindness, helpfulness, and to-die-for pizzas. Santa Margarita Ranch’s Venue Manager, Bridget, was lovely to work with and always eager to help! And Nick the DJ had the most contagious, positive attitude. When the wedding was over and the decorations came down, I felt so grateful to have worked with such wonderful people, and to have had the opportunity to represent Amanda Holder Events! It was a day and experience I will never forget.
