Pepper Tree Ranch Wedding | San Luis Obispo Wedding Coordinator | Ashley & Ray

Ashley & Ray’s love story culminated in a beautiful September Saturday at not one, but two venues: Mission de Tolosa San Luis Obispo and Pepper Tree Ranch. The pair spent the morning as all couples do, getting gussied up with their friends and family. Our crew, in the meantime, was getting the reception venue all set to go for guest arrival.

Our team does a lot of weddings with two separate venues; here’s how it works; the wedding coordination crew spends the majority of the morning setting up the reception venue, where guests will spend the most time. Then, about an hour before ceremony starts, at least one member of the wedding coordination team heads to the ceremony location to make sure all flowers, decor, chairs, etc. are set up properly. The ceremony team makes sure everything runs smoothly before, during, and after ceremony and then heads back to the reception venue.

Ashley looked absolutely stunning in her wedding gown, while Ray was the most handsome groom! I wish I could describe Ray’s face when he saw Ashley walk down the aisle…it was as if all his nerves immediately vanished. The Catholic ceremony was meaningful and included beautiful readings from two different family members. Upon exiting the church, a Mariachi band welcomed the newlyweds and their guests, which was a complete surprise to the bride and groom! (Personally, it was my first time seeing a Mariachi band perform at a wedding, so I really enjoyed it)!

At Pepper Tree Ranch, the bridal party took some beautiful photos (courtesy of the amazing Jeffrey San Juan) and then joined the party. The grand introductions were especially fun because each pair of the wedding party really made the most of their moment in the spotlight! It was right before grand intros actually, that I discovered that the bride and I were sorority sisters! What’s even crazier, is that this is the second sorority sister whose wedding I’ve worked and they were BOTH at Pepper Tree Ranch! Small world.

We can’t say enough good things about our fellow vendors for this wedding, most of whom we’ve worked with before, but a couple people were new to our network! One of these new companies was our caterer, Auten Boys Catering, who was fantastic! And of course Ricardo from Elegant Details Flowers and Javi from Central Coast Premier Entertainment were amazing to work with, as usual. At the end of the day, Ashley & Ray’s wedding was truly one for the books, and we’re so grateful we got to work with them.

Love Letter: “Amanda’s team made our day stress free. We planned a 220-person wedding in 6-ish months and we couldn’t have done it without Amanda! She has all the right recommendations for vendors that will make the day what you envision. They all enjoy working with her which will make your life SO much easier. I didn’t have to worry about anything the day of the wedding because Amanda was always one step ahead. Definitely recommend!” -Ashley & Ray.
