As 2019 comes to a close, we wanted to take a few moments to reflect back on the magic of this past year!
Our team designed, planned, and/or managed 30+ events in 2019! Say what?!?
From weddings, to venue and hotel launches, to birthdays and anniversaries, to corporate events, we did it all!
We wanted to share some of our favorite moments, the things we’re most grateful for, and the things we’re most looking forward to in 2020!
Our Favorite Moments:
- The first annual Central Coast Wedding Industry Awards, aka The Rings, to celebrate the best of the best in our local wedding industry.
- Winning The Wedding Games at Greengate Ranch to kick off the year! Team GSD!!!
- Our styled shoot at White Barn getting published on Wedding Chicks, which included a giant raspberry macaron cake from the lovely and talented Libby at Just Baked Cake Studio & Bakery. (Side note, I can’t help but stop at the bakery to pick up some sweet treats every time I head to north county)!
- The horses at Pepper Tree Ranch!!!
- Dancing it out to the phenomenal live band, Soulville, at Kaitlin & Doug’s wedding at Santa Margarita Ranch!
- Groom Troy and his mom’s epic Mother/Son dance to Soulja Boy at Halter Ranch Vineyard!
- Groom Nick’s sweet serenade for his Bride Tianna at Allegretto Vineyard Resort.
- The opportunity to give back to our community through the Family Care Network & The Wedding Standard collaboration…and the denim-on-denim birthday party we got to plan as a result!
- Katie making a mad dash with a bride’s bouquet, literally a split second before she started down the aisle to precisely choreographed music.
- Groom Colby’s unique “garter toss dance” for his lovely Bride Nicole under the lights of The Casitas Estate.
- Groom Ruben’s adorable Father/Daughter dance with his daughter, Avery, at White Barn.
- Andrea & Enrique’s ring bearer insisting on piggy-back-rides from Julia all throughout their reception at White Barn!
- Groom Matt reciting vows to Bride Katrina’s son as part of the ceremony…there was not a dry eye in the entire White Barn!
Our Deepest Gratitude:
- For the clients who trusted us with one of the most important days of their lives, many of whom have become life-long friends. We love you all and are inspired by your love for and commitment to each other! (We’ve included photos of all of you below).
- For the amazingly talented vendors we have the honor of working with week in and week out to bring those client dreams to fruition.
- For the photo and video teams who capture it all so beautifully and give us all something to appreciate visually for years to come!
- For the support of our colleagues, friends and families in pursuing the things that bring us JOY throughout the year.
- For the incredible, hard-working, calm, cool, collected, brilliant and beautiful team of women that makes up Amanda Holder Events. Ashley, Katie, Julia, Lauren, Madison, Maren, Martha, Mia, Rachel, Rachell and Shea…I love you ladies SO much!
Our Goals and Dreams for 2020:
- More LOVE. More JOY. More GRATITUDE.
- More opportunities to learn and grow and be a positive influence on others.
- Expanding our team.
- Another 30+ weddings and events.
- Lots and lots of travel and adventure.
So, THANK YOU ALL for an incredible year! We lived, we loved, and we laughed (a lot). Cheers to even more in 2020!
