Not even a little rain could keep this couple down! Melanie and Matt were originally married during the COVID-19 pandemic, but also wanted to follow up with a reception later on where they could celebrate their marriage with family and close friends.

The event was an intimate affair with a romantic flair, reflected in the colors of black and white with accents of dusty rose and hot pink. The beautiful surroundings of the Allegretto Vineyard Resort provided the perfect backdrop for carrying out the rustic, chic theme. The couple exchanged vows in the center courtyard in front of the grand staircase and then headed off to cocktail hour through a flurry of bubbles! That’s when the rains came, and it was all hands on deck, as the vendor team quickly acted to keep everything in the reception area from getting drenched. Luckily Allegretto had plenty of overhead space to shelter everyone, so that drinks and appetizers could still be enjoyed by all.

A delicious dinner was served in the spa quad, followed by clever toasts and desserts from Seabreeze Cupcakes, a champagne tower and first dances. Then the bride and groom danced the night away with their guests enjoying every minute of it! Congratulations to The Sloanes!
